PRODUCT INFORMATION
Tanafem Clinically tested, herbal vaginal douche formula made of condensed Zinc tannins buffered with Glycine

Tanafem consists of a blend of natural herbal tannates designed for fighting yeast, fungal and bacterial agents that infect the vagina. Tanafem also contains a special carbohydrate that acts synergistically with tannates. Tanafem is available in a convenient jar, containing 15 individual treatments.

Tanafem is one of the gentlest and effective vaginal douche treatments available for Vaginal Candidiasis, yeast and bacterial infections. Tanafem will only address infestations of the vaginal area, however, we have found that combining Tanalbit with Tanafem can help the treatment process and may help prevent recurring infections.

Why should I used Tanafem instead of OTC treatments?

Unlike OTC treatments, Tanafem is quite gentle to the system and will not contribute to possible yeast resistance and yeast infection recurrence.

Should I use Tanafem more than once daily?
No. More than one use daily can irritate the vaginal wall and prolong treatment.

What is the longest time I can use Tanafem?
5-7 days for each dose period. Take a break between dosing periods and then resume if systems persist.

Can I use Tanafem with OTC products?
It is best to use Tanafem independent of OTC products, specifically vaginal inserts.

What about intercourse?
For best results, abstain from intercourse during yeast infection treatment to prevent re-infection and/or infecting partner.

What about external itching/irritation?
The Tanafem powder can be made into a topical paste for external labia application when combined with water. Night application of this technique is most convenient. Take one scoop of powder, add a small amount of water to powder to achieve semi-solid paste consistency. Gently pat paste onto irritated area, let paste dry overnight, and then wash off in the morning. Repeat procedure if irritation persists.

How should I take Tanalbit?
If you think you may be getting a yeast infection, take 2-6 capsules for two days and then during Tanafem treatment if indeed you do contract an infection.
