Tabit Plant Tannin for the treatment and prevention of diarrhea and bacterial infestation in the stomach and large intestine; Excellent travelers aid for treating travelers diarrhea or mild food poisoning; Contains Canaigre in Proline/Tannin complexTabit is an herbal preparation indicated for the treatment of diarheal diseases: acute or chronic diarrhea, lower intestinal cramps caused by bacteria or food-borne bacteria, flatulence or related disorders caused by stomach bacteria.
Tabit is also recommended for general GI tract health, especially when it is compromised by fungal, yeast or bacterial infestation. Tabit contains a powerful tannin: the extracts of wild rhubarb root or Canaigre. It is complexed with Zinc and with Proline and Hydroxyproline amino acids.
Tabit is available to adults and children above 4 years of age. Long term therapies not recommended for diarrhea symptoms lasting more than 3 days as a more serious condition may be the cause of the diarrhea, and medical attention should be sought.
Possible Applications: Diarrhea, dysentery, flatulence, constipation, IBS, Chrons disease, travelers diarrhea, mild food poisoning.
Tabit works in the same manner as Tanalbit®: attaching to the outer membrane of the target cell (in this case bacteria) which disables the cell and prevents proliferation and growth. Like Tanalbit® it is non-toxic with the occasional minimal side effect of constipation. If this occurs, reduction in dosage is suggested.
