Standardization Specification:
This product is standardized to contain 8.7-26.2 mg/day of Saikosaponin, 87.4-162.4 mg/day of Baicalin, 8.0-24.3 mg/day of Anthraquinone, and 0.84-1.97 mg/day of Cinnamic acid.

Abdominal Diagnosis (Hara):
Strong abdominal tension with resistance and pressure pain in bilateral subcostal area along with stronger palpitated abdominal aorta around umbilicus.
TCM Formulation Strategy:
In this formula, gui zhi, chai hu and da huang are the chief herbs. Gui zhi addresses the greater yang and resolves the problems in the superficial levels. Chai hua, along with huang qin, resolve lesser yang disorders. Da huang treats heat accumulation. Among the assistant ingredients, long gu and mu li are mineral substances that weigh down and calm the floating spirit. Ren shen and fu ling strengthen the spleen qi and prevent spleen qi from being injured by the treatment. Ban xia descends qi and transforms disturbances of the fluids, working with fu ling. Sheng jiang and da zao, working together to harmonize the protective qi and nutritive qi, serve as the envoys in this formula.
Dosage and Administration:
For adult: 7.5g/day orally divided into 3 doses before or between meals. The dosage may be adjusted based on age, body weight and symptoms.
