Designs for Health is so impressed with Albions minerals that all Designs for Healths chelated minerals will be changed over to Albion chelates.
Albion minerals are maily chelated with the amino acid glycine due to its low molecular weight. Glycine is very safe, even in high doses. It helps to slow the degeneration of muscle tissue as it helps to synthesize creatine. Glycine is involved in energy production, formation of amino acids for t he immune system, CNS function, and prostate health.
Ture chelates are made in a liquid environment. For minerals to properly form coordinate covalent bonds with the amino groups of amino acids, they must be mixed in solution. These bonds cannot form in a dry environment simply by combining powdered ingredients in a capsule.
Designs for Health two-a-day multivitamin was designed to provide nutrients that are difficult to obtain in the typeical daily diet, such as 400 IU of Vitamin E, 200 mcg of selenium, 400 mcg of chromium, 500 mg Vitamin C and 800 mcg folic acid.
