When brought into contact with gastri acid, Refluxin forms a foamy emollient and antacid layer(raft) which floats on top of gastric contents. When irritation occurs, the lower esophagus is bathed in mildly alkaline mucoprotective coating which forms a physical and neutralizing barrier against irritating gastric fluids.Each tablet contains:
Pectin.............................100 mg
Mucin...............................50 mg
Magnesium Carbonate.................50 mg
Potassium Bicarbonate...............40 mg
Sodium Bicarbonate..................40 mg
Lecithin............................25 mg
In a base of: glucose, cellulose, fructose, citric acid, magnesium stearate and silicon dioxide.
Suggested Use: Chew 1 to 5 tablets separately after meals as needed or as directed by a health care professional. Briefly chew each tablet separately and swallowed with a sip of water.
