Supplementary methylsulfonyl-methane (MSM) may assist in relieving inflammation and promoting joint health (Lawrence, RM., MD,PhD 1999 U.C.L.A. study; to be published).
Boswellia serrata, a source of boswellic acids, has traditionally been used to enhance the health of joints, and to help resist undesirable age-related changes in the joints (Altern Med Rev 1998 Aug;3(4):306-7).
Both curcumin and boswellic acids exert antiinflammatory actions by inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory prostaglandins in the body (J Ethnopharmacol 1993 Mar;38(2-3):113-9).
Two capsules provide:
MSM (Methylsulfonyl-methane) 1,125 mg
Boswellia (Boswellia serrata)* 350 mg
Curcumin (Curcuma longa)** 200 mg
* standardized to 65% Boswellic acids
** standardized to 95% Curcumin
Suggested use for adults:
Two capsules, two times daily with meals.
