Default Portable Game Systems

I was thinking.

I want to get either a Nintendo DS or a Sony PSP. However, the PSP has a few different versions, and I'm not sure which one is best. On top of this, the Nintendo DS has the DS, DS Lite, DSi, the DSi XL, and soon, the Nintendo 3DS.

I don't know what to get! @_@ Any suggestions?

with the nintendo dsi, the dsi can take pictures, and has a microphone and internet access. it is really good. the psp can paly videos and music, but has no internet access. the dsi is better since you can get internet access and browse online. i think it is better especially if you like to websurf.

get a nintendo dsi, maybe a dsi xl

Forget the PSP or the Nintendo DSi! What about....THE GAME BOY?!!!!

That old brick of grey and green/black pixels, it is such THE portable game system, you must own one.

Oh, as to Mellisa's post, I agree, I'mm definately getting a DSi. Just not now.

There's also rumors that a new system is coming out. It's pretty much an upgrade for the DS, the Nintendo 3DS. Essentially, it's just going to be similar to a DSi, I think, in terms of functionality, but it will allow for 3D to come at you, and I think they're developing it so you can view it without the goggles.

Which would be nice because the goggles were a big reason why I never got into 3D

i had a chance to play the dsi recently. not the dsixl, but the regular dsi. i kinda got big hands, so when i played it with a fast paced game, i was afraid of slipping the ds from my hand. i may try to check out the dsixl at a gamestop and see how it compares. otherwise, i may be getting an old ds.

the psp2, i heard, is coming out a while back. it's gonna be probably another updated version of the PSP, except with better graphics. if the psp was essentially a portable PS2, then i imagine that the psp2 is going to be a portable ps3. that actually does sound like a good idea, considering how powerful the psp was in comparison to other handhelds. can't wait
