for the people who do own a blu-ray player say there is a big big difference between the two. and you see the diffference best when you have a flat screen tv to go along with it. i watched a movie with a blu-ray pplayer and it is a lot more clearer than the regular dvd players. i wouldn't get one though until i have money for it.. right now i'm happy with what i ahve

there are websites on the internet that basically tell you what sort of conversion and quality blu-rays have. they're really good especially if you compare them to the dvd versions. sometimes, the blu-ray is actually worse, IE the dvd of 300 to to blu-ray of 300. the bluray is actually worse! D:
