I remember in highschool in my senior english class...we listed as the class things we wished we knew how to do but never learned how. And how to change your oil was one of them. I'm probably the only girl who knows how to do that but thats because of my dad lol. But I was able to show some of my friends how to do it. Its really messy but if you have the time you might as well.

yeah im the same way im difinelty care iliteratre becasue i do not know one thing about cars. whish i did tho it would make things alot easier on me if i had any car troubles. but i would remind my dad or.. like they said just go get it done yourself.

I think you will be fine....however, I would not take much of a chance with it, just to be safe. I don't think the damage will be that bad as well if you drive without an oil change, but again, just be safe and be sure.
