Default Why do they hurt?

Why do my breast hurt so much when I'm about to get my period? They feel so tender. I know it's normal for women's breast to feel tender but why does that happen? I never had that before until the last six months I started feeling tenderness before my period.

As your body changes and develops your warning signs that your period is on the way changes as well. Maybe that's why your breasts are tender or it may be because you're growing. You never know. I tend to have the same problem to but its my entire body that hurts and gets sore. Sometimes I feel like if someone is poking my belly button with a sharp needle the entire day. And this recently started happening. I was worried to and talked to my doctor about it and he said it was normal. I still think its weird but doctors are doctors.

my breast hurts too when i'm about to be on my period. they feel tender but at the same time they feel a tad bigger.. but when my period starts rolling in it goes back to feeling normal. i don't know what those hormones are but it's normal indeed. you should be worried if you feel lumps in your breast though. that's a whole different story

its the surge of hormones that cause them to become tended. if you think its bad now just wait.. when you get prego they become even more sensitive. i ended up going on birth contol because i used to get horrible pain while i was getting ready to start my period plus i would get cramps so bad i would just have to lay in bed all the time. it was horrible.

I hate hormones all they do is make my life miserable.

It happens too me mines gets all tender and slighly swollen so they're kindof bigger. They hurt when too much pressure is on them and I hate it because just bearly brushing against something or a nice hug is painful for me. Some times its not as bad as others but for the most part I hate it. Its not a good experience.

Mines swell a little bit. It was kinda weird at first like I went to my mom because I thought something was wrong with me but then she told me it was normal for some people when on their period. It sucks being a girls sometimes...I which guys could get a dose of what we have to go through sometimes...they really dont understand.

IDK but I've had the same problem for what seems like years now. I really can't stand it like sometimes it hurts just touching them or brushing against a pillow....its a pillow!!!!

My mom says its normal when I asked her...but how could that be normal. I mean Is it growin? if thats the case then I'll atleast know whats going on but its not. which really sucks ontop of it all.

Everyone that I've asked said that its normal. I think its something that we girls just go through like everything else. Mine especially hurt right before, during, and after my period. Its soooo annoying. Maybe the next time I go get a check up I'll ask my doctor about it and see if he has any idea. I didn't know all you guys had the same problem too...when my lady fam told me that its normal I thought they were saying it for me.
