Default Cheap healthy food, does it exist?

when I went shopping for groceries, or when I go to get something to eat, it seems all of the horrible fast food are the ones that are the cheapest, and anything remotely healthy is at least 20%-75% more expensive than the cheaper option. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get or find cheap but healthy food.

Most healty foods are expensive because of the way they are unprocessed much of the time. Places like Super-Walmart have organic foods for not too expensive and they have the cheapest I've seen. Most Health food places that solely sell healthy food are very expensive but it seems like regular grocery stores are starting to carry healthy organic foods that are cheaper.

I think there are cheap healthy options out there. I think it is always cheaper to buy produce that is in season. So when you want to cook some healthy food than you should just look for recipes where in season produce is the center of the recipe. Also I think that there are places such as costco where you can by affordable produce.
