We still have an OLD VHS player. You know the old ones that weight just about as much as your TV does now and make all this noise when you play or rewind movies. We had to get one of those rewinder things because our VHS player would eat the tapes if you tried to rewind them in it. Ha ha it was funny trying to pick out the tape and put it back together. They never worked right after that.

I think the first DVD my parents bought me was Shrek...weird but yea I'm the ulitmate Shrek and Donkey fan. But I still have alot of stuff on VHS and my VSH still works like magic so I use it all the time. Alot of my friends come over to my house to watch their tapes and stuff they have sometimes because they don't have a VHS anymore and theres no where really where you can go and just get one...although there are some places that still sell the VHS/DVD combo player. I should've gotten one of those and it was around 60 somethink bucks...which isn't bad.

To reference Alicia's post, I'm not sure if I miss VHS or CD Players. VHS players are one thing since the tapes were pretty sturdy and DVDs can scratch and be permamently lost, but CD Playerts I do not miss. THey were huge and VERY flimsy in my opinion. I broke many CD Players bac in the day, good thing I had very very cheap players that only cost a couple of bucks.

VHS was really cool. I love them. However, I never really saved mine....it was such a dissapointment because I found some old VHS copies of Simpsons episodes and King of the Hill episodes I recorded.....and whenever I was bored, I popped the tapeback in, and I had my own private collection of Simpsons episodes I could watch over and over......good times.
