Manufacturing and Quality Control

Our manufacturing process maximizes the quality of the final product, insuring that each production run meets or exceeds our high standards for potency and purity.

The quality of our raw materials far exceeds industry standards.

We use fresh, whole, chemical-free , pesticide-free and heavy metal-free herbs harvested from the #1 growing sites in China and India � instead of the bulk ground powders preferred by most manufacturers. Bulk powders are considerably less expensive but virtually impossible to preserve freshness or to verify the quality in this form.

All herbs are screened to confirm freshness and quality - we only accept the highest grades.

Strict controls verify exactly the species (or sub-species), growing region, and portion of the plant which is used.

Our formulas are extracted and concentrated for superior bioavailability and maximum potency.

Our extraction processes release the active ingredients from the tough fibrous portions of the plants.

The solution is concentrated without losing any active components. (As opposed to the common strategy of producing an impressive concentration ratio, without regard for what may be lost in the process).

Strict quality control procedures insure purity and potency.

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are used throughout our manufacturing process. GMP�s are comprehensive manufacturing standards established by the United States Pharmacopoeia for the production of pharmaceuticals.

All formulas are completely screened for all types of contaminants using established pharmaceutical standards.

Test results are verified by independent outside laboratories.

Formula Design

Our approach to formula design is unique. Most of our formulas are structured and balanced according to the empirical healing principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) or Tibetan Traditions.

Our formula designers Dr.�s Vladimir Badmaev, P. Q. Kang, L. J. Liang, Ken Morris, and Anthony Payne have access to and use a vast array of herbs from all over the world, many indigenous to different cultures and systems of holistic medicine. This greatly expands the availability of compounds and combinations, which can be used in the design of the formula.

By constantly staying current with recent scientific advances in plants and herbal medicine, our research and development experts integrate the latest discoveries into the selection and preparation of new raw materials. The formulas are designed by creatively combining these resources to meet the needs of modern health conditions and environmental stress factors.
