In 1978, three naturopathic doctors, Bruce Canvasser, Ken Rifkin and Jerry Schlesser, established NF Formulas. The goal was to provide physicians with botanical and nutritional preparations that accurately addressed the needs of their patients and could be readily used in clinical practice. At the time, physician-based formulas were not widely available. NF Formulas became a pioneer in the industry, creating innovative formulations particularly in the areas of immune, digestive, liver and cardiovascular support.
