Franklin and Lorraine St. John founded HerbaSway Laboratories in 1996. Their plan was to introduce to the American people a unique method to promote good health naturally. The HerbaSway development team created concentrates using traditional, wild-crafted herbs from the mountains of China. These recipes are based on Traditional Chinese Herbal formulas that have been used for thousands of years and continue, today, in combination with the latest western scientific research. Our liquid concentrates are made with both taste and efficacy in mind. We use Lo Han extract (fruit) to sweeten our concentrates and they contain no preservatives, sugar, artificial sweeteners or alcohol. One of our first products developed was our HerbaGreen® Tea. Delicious, potent and easy to take, it quickly became and remains the company’s number one selling product. Today, HerbaSway produces more than 35 products. Our research and development team of scientists develop products and conduct tests in our own laboratory as well as with independent laboratories. 2005 was a very significant year for HerbaSway, as we added an additional 15,000 square feet to the company and installed a new manufacturing line. We also achieved Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification from the Natural Products Association in preparation for the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) mandated ruling.
